SEE THE HIGHLIGHTS FROM OUR NASHVILLE BUS TRIP – APRIL 2024

Our first bus trip to Nashville was a huge success and so much fun! 53 guests plus our amazing bus driver, Dan, from Ready Bus Company. Here are some memories and highlights from our trip.

We stopped for lunch at The Chocolate Covered Strawberry Cafe in Gallatin, Tennessee. This place was very unique. Seating is available inside or outdoors, none of the furniture matched, but it somehow worked! Delicious food, a gift shop, and friendly staff. A true gem!

We picked up our tour guide, Maddie, when we arrived in Nashville. She showed us some of the celebrity homes in Nashville and shared some history about the city. Then, she took us to the gravesite of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash.

Then we went on to our private line dancing class at Nashville Palace. That was so much fun!

One of everyone’s favorite events was attending the Grand Ole Opry for Country Classics Night. We also got an exclusive backstage tour. We saw where the celebrities check-in, their personal mailboxes, and dressing rooms, and we stood on the Grand Ole Opry Stage in the famous “Circle”!

Singing Tour Guides, Dave & Daphne were a delight! They sang us through Tennessee and showed us the Capital Building as well. We also got more musical history from them which was very interesting.

The General Jackson Showboat Lunch and Entertainment Cruise is a must! Great food, excellent entertainment, and a different view of Nashville from the water.

The Country Music Hall of Fame tour was also one of my favorite parts of the trip. So much history in one place. Next time I’d like to tour Studio B where many of the greats recorded.

Music Row, downtown Nashville, on Broadway Street. Wow! That’s all I can say. Broadway Street is very crowded, but also very fun. Each bar had live music and it just kept getting better and better. Drinks are a little pricey, but being in the action is worth it.

That’s the short version of our 5-day adventure to Nashville. TikToks will be coming soon, and stay tuned for more trips at wiscotrips.com!
