L.A.S.H. are a three-piece Indie-folk band based in Macclesfield, UK, consisting of Simon Woolham on guitar and vocals, Hannah Wooll on vocals and Zollie Coope on violin and vocals. Formed in 2022 after emerging from lockdown, they have played various venues including The Button Warehouse, The Snow Goose and The Silk Museum as part of Barnaby Festival, Macclesfield. Their first EP ‘The Illuminating Shadow’ was released in 2023, their second EP ‘A Thousand Hours Wasted’ is released in May 2024.
‘Wasted’ is a song and video that promotes the notion that there is no such thing as wasted time, as boredom, that life is short and everything is loaded with the circumstances of life. The video utilises the free public domain film footage from the Prelinger Archives.
